Flying Crazy has stormed through the middle of the pack to salute in the $140,000 Luskin Star Stakes (1300m) at Scone on Saturday.
It was the latest impressive performance from a three-year-old gelding on the up, winning four of his past six starts for Gerald Ryan and Stirling Alexiou.
With Kerrin McEvoy aboard, he beat Annabel Neasham’s star veteran sprinter Olmedo by half a length, after Much Much Better held the early lead for Gary Moore.

Earlier, after picking up three seconds since her last victory at Moonee Valley on July 31 last year, Zapateo was rewarded with a breakthrough triumph in the $140,000 Denise’s Joy Stakes (1100m).
It was an impressive ride from jockey Rachel King, getting her filly to fire inside the final 200m to salute by just over a length.
Mark Newnham’s A Very Fine Red was second.
Despite being forced wide, King was simply too classy aboard her three-year-old in this feature sprint.
