First Race 12:20pm AEST

Wyong Race Club is scheduled to host an eight-part card on Tuesday afternoon and HorseBetting’s New South Wales form expert presents his best bets, top odds and free quaddie selections. The track is rated a Heavy 9, with the rail out 1m the entire circuit for the meeting set to get underway at 12:20pm AEST.

Wyong Best Bet: Bob

It is rare that we would make a runner who has one win from 16 starts as a best bet, but if the Mark Newnham-trained Bob cannot bring up a second career win here on Tuesday he may never win another race. His lone career win came on a Heavy track at Hawkesbury on September 10 last year and in four goes on a Heavy track he is yet to miss the top three suggesting he will relish the slop on Tuesday. From barrier four, look for Sam Clipperton to settle the three-year-old son of Pierro outside the leader and when he asks for an effort at the top of the straight, we anticipate he will kick clear and bring up a win 10 months in the making.

Next Best at Wyong: Amungee

We were with the Matthew Dunn-trained Amungee when she broke through for a deserved maiden win at Hawkesbury on July 1 and we expect her to bring up consecutive wins here at Wyong. The three-year-old Exceed and Excel filly box seated at her last start and then managed to put close to 2.5 lengths on the field and from barrier four we anticipate she will receive a very similar run in transit on Tuesday. Rachel King hops on board for the first time and considering Amungee is yet to run outside of the top two in three starts on rain affected ground she is the one to be with in the final race of the day.

Next BestRace 8 – Amungee (#2) $5.50 with Sportsbet

Wyong Value Bet: Pride Of Adelaide

The Nathan Doyle-trained Pride Of Adelaide is set to resume off a three-month spell and looks well placed to kick off his campaign with a win over the 1300m. It has been a fair old drop in form for the four-year-old son of Adelaide, as he contested the Group 2 Tulloch Stakes as a $6 chance just over 12 months ago. He is set to step out in a mid-week BM64 but if he has somehow recaptured his best form during his time in the paddock, he is the one to be with as he will look to dictate terms out in front and prove too hard to run down.

Best ValueRace 7 – Pride Of Adelaide (#2) $8 with Ladbrokes
