Wyong Race Club is one of the prominent horse racing facilities in the central coast region of New South Wales.
Since opening operations in 1875, Wyong Race Club has always been considered a powerhouse of provincial racing across the nation, maintaining a professional setting for racegoers and functioning as a centre of activity for the Wyong community. This includes major functions and charity events throughout the year.
Wyong Racecourse hosts up to 22 meetings per year and continues to be operated regularly as a training hub for some of the leading horsemen and women in the industry. Kim Waugh, Damian Lane and Tracey Bartley all hail from the central coast, and up to 25 more experienced trainers have elected to set up out of this long-standing operating racecourse.
Wyong Race Club has its feature race-days late in the year between August and September, as they get some metropolitan gallopers engaged for the $200,000 Wyong Gold Cup.

Last year’s winner Durston (2022) even going on to Group 1 glory securing victory in the Caulfield Cup.
Not to mention the inclusion of Wyong in the Provincial-Midway qualifiers allowing the locals to get involved for major prizemoney and even see their horse racing at metropolitan class.
