Racing goes to Wyong this Wednesday for what looks to be a very competitive seven-race card, highlighted by the $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic. The track is currently rated a Good 4, and with good weather forecasted for Tuesday and Wednesday, we expect to see a Good track on raceday. The rail will be in the true position, while racing gets underway at 1:45pm AEDT.
Best Bet at Wyong – Mach Ten
Our best bet of the day will come up in the featured Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic, where we will be siding with the Michael Freedman-trained Mach Ten as he returns from a two-month spell. This two-year-old colt ran second on debut behind Empire Of Japan in the Group 3 Breeders Plate at Randwick over 1000m on October 1. This son of Exceed And Excel led the field up in the Breeders Plate and was travelling well before Empire Of Japan flew home and beat him by three lengths. This guy held his own though and beat the rest of the field by just over a length. On Wednesday, this colt will clash with a two of the runners that ran in the $1 million Golden Gift, Infatuation and Summer Loving, who are also the second and third favourite. After winning his only trial over 898m, this guy looks to have returned well and he should be very hard to beat this Wednesday.

Next Best at Wyong – Hell I Am
In the first leg of the quaddie, the John O’Shea-trained Hell I Am looks to have found a very nice race to return in, after having a three-month spell. This three-year-old gelding won his last two starts, before going out for a spell, at Canterbury and Randwick over 1250m and 1200m. This son of Hellbent has won three of his seven career starts to date and on Wednesday, he will be looking for win number four, while he will also be looking to keep his 100%-win rate at 1200m. James McDonald trialled this guy at Canterbury on November 29, where he won the trial after being pushed along in the final 200m. McDonald will stick with him on Wednesday and from barrier 12, he will need to make a decision quick as to whether he goes forward or takes his medicine and drops to the back of the field. With even luck and a comfortable run in transit, this guy should be in this for a long way.

Best Value – Send Me A Legend
The Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1100m will see our value bet of the day come up in the form of Send Me A Legend from the Peter Robl yard. This lightly raced five-year-old gelding has only been to the races three times, recording a win on debut before finishing outside the placing at his two starts last campaign. This son of Written Tycoon has only had the one trial before going to the races on Wednesday, where he wasn’t pushed to win the trial and he idled alongside the winner quite impressively. Kerrin McEvoy has ridden this guy in his last three trials but will ride him on race day for the first time this Wednesday at Wyong. At $9 with online bookmakers we are more than happy to have a wager on this guy first-up.
