Symon Wilde’s Wishlor Lass headlines a nine-horse field assembled for Saturday’s Group 3 Tesio Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley.
The five-year-old mare was a last-start winner of the Group 3 Ladies Day Vase (1600m) at Caulfield on October 14.
Horse racing bookmakers wasted no time in installing Wishlor Lass as a +120 market elect, with the progressive mare hunting a sixth career win at just her eighth start.
Damian Lane will partner the daughter of Mshawish once again, with the pair drawing perfectly in barrier one.
Outside of the favourite, it looks to be a competitive race.
En Francais (+500) was brave in defeat last time out in the Listed Murray Bridge Cup (1600m), where she was forced to travel three wide with no cover and found one better over the concluding stages.
Lachlan Neindorf will link up with the Puissance De Lune mare from barrier three.
Soul Choice (+400), Thalassophile (+500) and Osmose (+800) all come through the Group 3 Angst Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on October 14.
Dazzling Lazy at +1200 looks to be the only other hope in the market, with the remaining three horses priced at +1800 or longer.
The Group 3 Tesio Stakes is the third race in a bumper 10-race meeting at The Valley and is set to jump at 1:20pm AEDT.
