The Stir Up featuring Yahiro Bale, Plaintiff and Wow She’s Fast

GRV’s Gerard Guthrie and Trent Langskaill provide their thoughts on some of the star greyhounds racing in Victoria.

Keep an eye on these, they are worth saving in your WatchDog Blackbook!

Gerard  What an amazing win by Yahiro Bale in last night’s Group 3 SA Oaks Final at Angle Park. Even though Quilts is having a couple of weeks off, I’m sure he didn’t miss that run.

Trent  The great start to the career of Deadly Class continued in the SA Derby Final as well. Three Group 3 finals and he has only raced 12 times.

Gerard  I hope the Victorian greyhounds go just as well at Wentworth Park tonight in the semi-finals of the Million Dollar Chase, Trent.

Trent  Tom and Andrea Dailly have two key chances, Gerard, with Pink Diamond winner Zara’s Ivan and Group 1 winner Zippy Tesla.

Gerard  I was chatting to Jason Thompson this week and he advised me that Plaintiff has enjoyed a perfect preparation during his five-race winning streak.

Trent  Best of luck to Kelsey Bale (Daniel Gibbons), Who Told Shorty and McInerney (both Brendan Pursell) and Red Reactor (Daniel Pell).

Gerard  The Pat Haas Classic Final is at The Meadows tomorrow night and Bob Douglas was understandably excited when talking about Baby Jaycee; triumphant in her last six races.

Trent  The clash between El Dorado – a winner of 13 races from 25 starts – and Group 2 finalist Dynamic Prince is another highlight of Premier Racing at The Meadows.

Gerard  Before I forget, did you notice the time posted by Wow She’s Fast in an exhibition trial at Angle Park last night. 30.19 seconds on a rain-affected track … WOW.

Trent  I would imagine Jackie and Kel Greenough have been inundated with calls from the eight slotholders announced this morning for The Phoenix worth $1.65 million.
