The Stir Up featuring Plaintiff, Panama Canal and Ferdinand Boy

GRV’s Peter Quilty, Gerard Guthrie and Trent Langskaill provide their thoughts on some of the star greyhounds racing in Victoria.

Keep an eye on these, they are worth saving in your WatchDog Blackbook!

Peter  Wow, Plaintiff continued his amazing form at Sale yesterday. He will be a force to be reckoned with in the Million Dollar Chase semi-finals on September 16.

Gerard  Speaking of the Million Dollar Chase, best wishes to Photo Man and Red Reactor in their respective regional finals at Richmond this evening and Broken Hill on Sunday night..

Trent  I would imagine that Zippy Tesla will line up in a city prelude on September 10 after last night’s win at Sandown Park. Once he is in the clear, good luck trying to reel him in.

Peter  Fellas, it is great to see Moraine Suzie at The Meadows tomorrow night after her brave third in the Group 1 National Distance Championship last Saturday evening.

Gerard  Quilts, I spoke to Michelle Mallia this week, and her two stayers, Fernando’s Quest and Aston Velvet, are going super heading into the Top Cat Video Cup heats.

Trent  Don’t forget about Dusty Bourbski racing at The Meadows as well. Before the Group 1 National Sprint Championship, he was victorious in four of his previous five races.

Peter  Trent, make sure you have a good sleep before you head to Healesville on Sunday for five sensational heats of the Group 2 Healesville Cup.

Trent  I cannot wait for Sunday morning, Quilts, and after his tremendous run last Sunday, Panama Canal looks like the greyhound to beat in the first heat.

Gerard  There are plenty of stars in the heats including country cup winners Paua Of Buddy, Compliance and Typhoon Sammy, plus The Arrow winner Quinlan Bale.

Peter  Don’t discount the country cups king, Ferdinand Boy. The defending Healesville Cup champion is as right as he was last year according to his trainer David Geall.

Keep an eye on @greyhoundracingvic on Instagram, GRVictoria on Facebook and @WatchDogRacing on Twitter this Sunday for coverage of the Group 2 Healesville Cup heats.
