GRV’s own Peter Quilty, Andrew Copley and Trent Langskaill provide their thoughts on some of the star greyhounds racing in Victoria.
Keep an eye on these, they are worth saving in your WatchDog Blackbook!
Peter What a win by Moraine Suzie in the Victorian Distance Championship at Sandown Park last night. She could be a star of the future.
Trent Don’t forget about the Victorian Sprint Championship. Dusty Bourbski was extremely brave in holding off Photo Man.
Andrew The victory of Paddy Wants Pats cannot be overshadowed as well. He has been in tremendous form since returning from injury.
Peter Fellas, it’s terrific to see the dual country cup winner Typhoon Sammy at Geelong tonight after his time in the northern states.
Andrew It is great to see ‘Sammy’ return. Another classy performer, Stout Monelli, has been in red-hot form recently and he is a star attraction at The Meadows tomorrow night.
Trent One of my new favourites, Salad Dodger, is also at The Meadows, and he won’t have to worry about chasing Mr. Audacious this time.
Peter Gents, I spoke to trainer Garry Selkrig this week, and he believes Shima Sheen is well drawn in Sunday’s Victorian Straight Track Championship at Healesville.
Andrew How about the clash between Ferdinand Boy and Kepal as well? The country cups king versus the 300m track record holder. I’m on Ferdinand Boy.
Peter So am I, but don’t discount Group 1 placegetter Titan Blazer.
Trent That race should be as exciting as Extreme Force was at Sandown Park last Sunday. 28.93 seconds!!! Only three greyhounds have gone quicker, and Wow She’s Fast is one of them.
