Race 1

7 The Big Bird: Smart debutant with a big motor and a bit of a future. Astute stable and if doing things right should really be winning.

2 Asteria Lavra: Debutant from a smart trotting stable with some nice workout and trial form under the belt. Respect.

10 Daisy Hill: More than capable of winning a race like this but often beats herself. Good enough to push them close if in the right mood.

4 Mi Anna: Fresh up runner with a bit of a motor. Should be right on song for a strong return to racing judging by solid trial win early in the month.

Selections: 7-2-10-4

Race 2

5 Sheffield Sparky: Keeps the hook baited each week with good performances. Sure to be rewarded soon and has to be considered a strong hope here.

3 Golden Quest: Nice money for a horse in genuinely good form. Handy draw and likely to look to get forward so has to be in the mix.

1 Mimi E Coco: Butcher jumps off a last start winner for this one. Drawn the inside and should be on the speed throughout so right in the mix.

7 On A Roll: Gets back, but really rips home when saved for that one last run at them. Might take that approach here and good enough to gather them up.

Selections: 5-3-1-7

Race 3

8 Bolt For Brilliance: Put a line through the fresh up run, just experience. If he trots away with them here and does everything right he’s the one to beat.

11 You Really Got Me: Huge motor, but lacks a few things in the upstairs department at the moment. Could step out tonight and smash them, but it’s a big could.

10 Monkey Selfie: A little like the above. All the talent in the world but the manners still aren’t quite there. Can win it, but it all relies on the first stages of the race.

6 Saint Michel: Wee freshen up after some great runs recently. Sure to be able to get handy and give a good account of himself once again.

Selections: 8-10-11-6

Race 4

8 Double Rocket: Enjoyed a good step back in grade last time and delivered the goods. Similar field here and similar tactics likely so similar result expected too.

3 Some Do: Been fantastic this season and good in the Group One a couple back. She can certainly push them here with the right kind of run.

6 Revolver: Talented type and small field from behind the mobile really helps the chances. Good enough to ruffle a few feathers that’s for sure.

1 Best Western: Thought she was excellent first up for the season when third. Good draw here and with a nice trip can have one of the last says.

Selections: 8-3-6-1

Race 5

6 Tuscon Tiger: Steven Reid trained debutant with some slick workout and trial form. Will be ready to rock and roll here on debut and a live chance.

2 Cowgirls N Lace: Has been good in two career appearances to date and Herlihy sticks in the bike over stablemate, that’s a good sign. Have in.

3 Smoken Shazza: Going really well at the moment but not quite getting the luck. When it comes, so will a win. Perhaps tonight.

8 Eagle Eye: Second of the Herlihy team and not that far behind the stablemate. Trial form has been very good so expect a bold performance on debut.

Selections: 6-2-3-8

Race 6

5 Belle Of Montana: Class mare who simply put had an off day last time out. Gets here redemption tonight and looks the winner.

1 Wainui Creek: Has spent the best part of this season chasing Belle Of Montana and doing a good job. Sweet trip in store here. Have in.

3 Solid Gold: Into the Herlihy barn after the Inter Dominions. More than capable of punching forward here and having a bit to say.

6 Star Galleria: Has been taking on the best of the best and should enjoy a bit of a relief tonight. Certainly one you want to have in the mix.

Selections: 5-1-3-6

Race 7

9 Forget The Price Tag: Not a lot been going right this time in so far to be fair, but nicely in here and with manners and a good run should win.

7 She Reigns: Keeps producing solid efforts and for now the manners seem right on point. That’s a big bonus. An each way hope here.

11 Woodstone: Potentially more talent than most in the field, but manners can be a little hit and miss. If right, would go close to winning.

10 Kenny’s Dream: Much more like it last time out. Hit the line well and appears to be on the way back. A good chance here.

Selections: 9-7-11-10

Race 8

1 Eagle Watch: Delivered on the promise in fine style last week at Cambridge. This is harder, but he’s good. Can make a big play from the inside draw.

3 Dina Brown: Quite a phenomenal performance last time out to win. Again, this is a step up, but she’s good when she’s on song.

6 Gladamare: Strong effort last time out to get as close as she did really. Can show a real strong turn of foot when saved for one run and a chance here.

2 Be My Rock: Back to form with a good win last time and gets a good draw to work with here so has to be considered once again.

Selections: 1-3-6-2

Race 9

1 Millwood Billie: Been trialling up like a quick winner and with the aid of the inside draw tonight should do exactly that.

6 Passion And Power: Dunn first starter with a bit of breeding and a bit of talent judging by public runs. Would expect a strong effort here on debut.

3 She’s No Lady: Handy trialist stepping out for the first time here from an astute stable. Bit to learn still but has to be in the mix.

7 Holyroad: Strong effort for second last week in a trial. Stable is going well and will be ready to rock and roll so needs including.

Selections: 1-6-3-7

BEST: 5 Belle Of Montana (Race 5)

NEXT: 1 Eagle Watch (Race 8)

VALUE: 6 Tuscan Tiger (Race 5)
