The ‘Chase’ continues…

Terrific “Team Dailly” triumvirate Zippy Tesla, Dusty Bourbski and Zara’s Ivan is part of an almighty ‘charge of the Vic brigade’ in the Million Dollar Chase City Qualifers (520m) at Wentworth Park in Sydney on Saturday night.

They’ll be joined by classy compatriots Amron Boy, Devine Empress, Extreme Force, Kysaiah, Let’s Win Coin, McInerney, Photo Man, Set Me Free and Who Told Shorty.

It’s “Sydney or the bush” for the visitors south of the border eyeing a semi-finals spot on September 17, where they’d join Plaintiff, Kelsey Bale and Red Reactor which qualified via the regional series.

However, the ultimate quest is a mouth-watering $1,000,000 in the ‘second’ 2022 MDC final on September 24.

CQ 3 (Race 7, 8.16pm) – Zara’s Ivan (Box 6 – $15); Photo Man (Box 8 – $2.60) – Gavin Clifton.

CQ 4 (Race 8, 8.40pm) – Let’s Win Coin (Box 5 – $19) – Jessica Sharp.

CQ 5 (Race 9, 8.56pm) – Amron Boy (Box 8 – $2.25) – Brooke Ennis.

Pawnote: Since its inception in 2018, no Victorian sprinter has won the Million Dollar Chase.
