The Group 3 Show County Quality has attracted a 10-horse field at Randwick this Saturday afternoon, with the Chris Waller-trained Extremely Lucky heading the market with most bookmakers.
The recently acquired five-year-old gelding will be making his stable debut after he was transferred from the Will Clarken & Niki O’Shea yard earlier this year.
Stablemate Zougotcha will also return on Saturday; however, the Waller team has accepted for both the Show County Quality and Toy Show Quality on the same day, so we await to find out which direction the four-year-old mare goes in.
Rounding out the Waller chances is last-start winner Kalino, who will be looking to win his first Group race.
Coolmore Stud Stakes placegetter Buenos Noches will return to the racetrack in the Show County Quality for his first start since running seventh in the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington in March of this year.
Joseph Pride has accepted with his five-year-old mare Argentia, who showed a bit when running fourth in the Group 2 Missile Stakes fresh last start, while the runner-up from the same race, Dragonstone, will also take his place in the 1200m contest.
Ucalledit from the Kris Lees yard will come in seeking a hat-trick of wins, after the son of Zacinto was successful in both the Listed Civic Stakes and Winter Stakes at Randwick at his last two starts.
