The Brisbane Racing Club will host a very competitive nine-race card at Eagle Farm this Saturday afternoon, highlighted by the Listed Tattersall’s Members Cup. With no rain on the forecast for Friday and Saturday, we expect the track to stay at the current Good 4 rating for the whole meeting. The rail will be in the true position, with the opening race set to jump at 11:53am AEST.
Tattersall’s Members Cup Tip: Williamsburg
Placed multiple times at Group 1 level, Williamsburg from the Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou yard will be returning for his first run as a four-year-old. Last preparation, this son of Snitzel finished fourth behind Osipenko in the Group 2 Hobartville Stakes before going on to finish third in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas two starts later. This four-year-old entire has performed best at distances further than 1400m, but when you consider the form he brings from last campaign, he should be able to win this on class alone.

Best Bet at Eagle Farm: Heleva Deel
We were with the Mark Currie-trained Heleva Deel last start when she finished second behind Hokahey over 1400m at this track on August 5. This six-year-old mare has been given a four-week freshen since that run and will go into this third-up, nearing full fitness. One big positive for this daughter of Dundeel is that she will rise sharply in distance to 1800m, which is what she has seemingly been crying out for in her first two starts this preparation. After drawing barrier four and gaining the services of 3kg claimer Bailey Wheeler, Heleva Deel will get all the favours and should be claiming her first win of the campaign.

Next Best Bet at Eagle Farm: All That Pizzazz
All That Pizzazz returned with a very encouraging second-place finish behind Orbisyn at Doomben on August 19, where the four-year-old gelding settled mid-field and was the best of the beaten brigade. This Tony Gollan-trained galloper will have taken a lot of benefit out of that fresh run and should be ready to go second-up in a similar grade over slightly more distance. This son of Spirit Of Boom has won five of his 10 starts to date, and if Ben Thompson can settle him in the box seat from barrier one, All That Pizzazz will go very close to recording another victory.

Best Value at Eagle Farm: Titanium
The final event of the day appears to be a very open betting contest. The Barry Lockwood-trained Titanium is coming off a runner-up finish behind Aqua Alta at this track over 1600m on August 5. This seven-year-old gelding has been competing in 1600m and 1650m races at his last two starts, but he seems to be peaking on his run 100m from the finish line, so this drop back in distance to 1400m is ideal. Jaden Lloyd will have to take his medicine from barrier 13 of 13 and go to the rear of the field; however, with a good amount of speed expected, Titanium should be able to finish off down the outside with that strong turn of foot.
