Twilight racing recommences in Victoria this Wednesday with eight races on the Lakeside track at Sandown. With perfect summer conditions forecast for Melbourne this week, we expect to be racing on a Good 4 deck throughout. The rail comes out 6m for the entire circuit, with racing to get underway at 3:40pm AEDT.
Best Bet at Sandown: Who Dares
Who Dares was only outgunned late by the smart Sisterhood at the Sandown Lakeside 1200m on November 22, and that pair put a good gap on the rest of the field. The four-year-old gelding hasn’t run a drum in three starts at 1400m, but they were in much harder races than this. From barrier two, Jye McNeil will look to have Who Dares lead the field throughout, and as long as he settles in running and doesn’t burn too many tickets early, he will take some running down.
Best Bet
Race 7 – #16 Who Dares (2)
4yo Gelding | T: Pat Carey & Harris Walker | J: Jye McNeil (58kg)

Next Best at Sandown: Plenty Of Ammo
The Symon Wilde-trained Plenty Of Ammo put 4.8 lengths on her BM64 rivals at Ballarat on November 23, and considering Jordan Childs sat up on her inside the final 100m, the winning margin could have been much further. The five-year-old mare travelled wide without cover that day, but she now draws to gain an economical run in transit from barrier five. With a sit just off the speed, Plenty Of Ammo should prove too slick for her rivals.

Next Best Again at Sandown: She’s Bulletproof
Charlotte Littlefield’s She’s Bulletproof chased home the smart Jambalaya at Moonee Valley on debut, and although she never really challenged the winner, the three-year-old filly put 2.3 lengths on her closest rival back in third. This daughter of Shooting To Win made up a stack of ground on debut, and the Sandown surroundings look to suit her perfectly. Craig Williams will have her settled in the second half of the field, but with a well-timed sprint, She’s Bulletproof should be too good.
Next Best Again
Race 1 – #12 She’s Bulletproof (6)
3yo Filly | T: Charlotte Littlefield | J: Craig Williams (56kg)
