Royal Randwick is the destination for metro racing on Saturday, with a bumper 10-race program set for decision. The rail is out +9m from the 1600m to the winning post, while the remainder is out +6m the rest of the way around. The track is rated a Heavy 8 at the time of acceptances, but with mostly sunny skies forecast in the lead-up, punters can expect an upgrade to the Soft range prior to the opening event at 11:10am local time.

This guy appears to be much better than BM78 grade, and with Jason Collett likely to lob into the one-one throughout this 1800m contest, Don Diego De Vega should have no problem dispatching this lot second-up.

Substantial hammered the line resuming in the Listed Civic Stakes (1400m) at Warwick Farm on June 26 and gets a far more favourable setup second-up. The son of Siyouni was near last turning for home, storming down the middle of the course to get within 3.6 lengths of Diamond Diesel. He draws to sit much closer from barrier two this time, and with a swing in the weights on some key rivals coming through the same form line, Substantial should give followers a bold sight at the each-way price with online betting sites.
