Group Three winner No Compromise is set to kick-off his preparation at Rosehill on Sunday over 1400m.
The son of Pins has a liking for the Sydney track, having won three and placed in three of his six runs on the surface.
He resumes after a pleasing autumn preparation which resulted in winning the Gr.3 Queen’s Cup (2400m) and placing in the Listed Parramata Cup (1900m).
Trainer Chris Waller has been pleased with the way the gelding has returned from his spell and he is expecting a strong run first-up.
“No Compromise is capable of running well fresh,” he said.
“Look out for him running home late. He is in for a good preparation.”
Bred and raised at Curraghmore, No Compromise was purchased at Karaka 2018 by former trainer Bill Thurlow for $40,000 and is raced by his brother Grant and his wife Patty.
Out of broodmare gem Baggy Green, No Compromise is also a half-brother to four-time Group One winner Tofane and Gr.1 Australian Derby (2400m) runner-up Benaud, and is also closely related to Group One winners Funstar and Youngstar.
