Melbourne, Australia – Victorian racehorse owners and punters have received a major boost with Racing Victoria (RV) unveiling a fully integrated and enhanced jump-out production and broadcast model.

The move, which now includes Flemington jump-outs, completes the standardisation of all Victorian tracks under the new system.

The improvements mean that every jump-out in Victoria will be filmed by Racing.com using a professional and consistent approach, while race callers will now narrate each session to help viewers track performances.

Another key enhancement ensures that the colours worn by horses in jump-outs are accurately reflected in results on Racing.com, helping punters and owners follow their runners with ease.

As part of the industry overhaul, Racing.com has launched a dedicated online hub, making it easier for fans and participants to access replays.

Jump-out footage will be available through the hub shortly after each session, with results expected to be published by 5pm on the day of their conduct.

RV Chief Executive Aaron Morrison said the move is a win for both owners and punters, offering more transparency and insights into a horse’s progress while also ensuring cost-efficiency across the industry.

“There are over 350 sets of jump-outs in Victoria each year, and they play a crucial role in a horse’s preparation.

By standardising and centralising the service, we’ve improved accessibility and enhanced the experience for participants, owners, and punters alike,” Morrison said.

The new model aligns Victoria’s jump-out structure with its broader racing vision, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and efficiency in the sport.

RV has also hinted at further digital enhancements in the coming months, promising even more engaging content and features for racing enthusiasts.
