In-form trotter Mighty Logan has been the most significant mover in this week’s IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup and Renwick Farms Dominion Trot rankings.
The Robert and Jenna Dunn-trained son of Creatine secured his third win in four starts when taking out the Breckon Farms Handicap Trot at Addington last Thursday.
He goes from 17th to 12th, and most importantly inside the 15-horse cut-off for the $400,000 Group 1 Dominion Trot at Addington Tuesday, November 12.
Mr Love has also improved, up two places to 13th after finishing third in the same race while Castana has gone from 37th to 29 after his win at Alexandra Park last Friday.
The top 11 remain the same from last week while in the rankings for the $1m IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup the top 26 places are unchanged.
Further down the leaderboard Here’s Herbie has gone from 38th to 28th after his second behind Mighty Looee in Sunday’s Group 3 Lazarus Methven Cup while the third-placed Got You Covered goes from 33rd to 29th.
The final rankings for both the IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup and the Renwick Farms Dominion Trot will be released following the Kaikoura Cup meeting on Monday, November 4.
