Glorafilia heads the winning chances junior driver Oliver Kite combines with at Ascot Park on Saturday.
Kite will be out to bag a penalty-free win in race 1 with the four-year-old, trained by his boss Nathan Williamson.
Williamson freshened the mare after she produced arguably the best run of her short career to win in her last outing at Ascot Park.
“She hit the line quite nicely last time she won in town and then she had a break,” Kite said.
“I am sure if she goes as well as she did last time she would be thereabouts on Saturday.”
Glorafilia tuned up recently with a workout run which showed Kite she was on track for her return to racing.
“She sort of needed it to the line, but that was what we wanted leading into this race.”
“She sprinted up a fast last quarter and she got to the line quite nicely.”
Kite will also be out to score a penalty-free win with Lock It In Eddie in race 5.
The big striding pacer went down narrowly two starts ago at Wyndham before galloping behind the gate in his last outing at Ascot Park.
In an even race, the seven-year-old should be competitive if he brings his best manners.
“If he behaves himself and stays in his gear, with the way he has been going I am sure he would be thereabouts.”
Kite also combines with I’m Trouble in race 9.
The pacer’s chances look to depend on where he settles from barrier 1.
“I think he can run a place, he held his own out of the gate last week.”
“There is a bit of gate speed there so it will just depend where he ends up and how the race goes.”
“I am sure he will be hitting the line good.”
Dem Bones Dem Bones looks the roughie among Kite’s book of four drives.
The Brett Gray trained mare clashes with the Williamson trained Andy Hall who bounced back to form with his second behind Only One Way at last weekend’s Diamonds Day meeting.
Foveaux Strait was also second for Williamson at Ascot Park last weekend, chasing hard behind Van Liberty.
The four-year-old looks hard to beat from barrier 1 in race 7 on Saturday.
Williamson also starts Who’s Bettor in race 6 and Bettastar in race 8.
