Aardie’s Express has been the big mover in the latest IRT New Zealand Cup rankings.
The mare jumped from 30th place to 15th in the rankings after her Group 3 Hannon Memorial at Oamaru on Sunday.
Other movements in the rankings include Republican Party jumping up to 12th from 17th, and Anything Goes moving to 11th, both being rewarded for their minor placings in the Hannon Memorial. Deceptive also passes a few with his 5th in the race moving to 34th from 40th.
The top 10 rankings all remain the same.
It’s been a quieter week in the Renwick Farms Dominion Trot rankings but we do see Resolve jumping up a couple of spots after her Jasmyn’s Gift win at Oamaru on Sunday. She has moved into 9th from 11th. Hidden Talent for her 2nd in the same race moves up to 22nd.
This week the Spring Cup at Auckland and Feature Handicap at Addington will influence the Cup Rankings, while the Banks Peninsula Cup is the big race for the trotters.
