Eight races will be run and won at Hawkesbury on Thursday afternoon, with the first of those scheduled for 12:15pm AEST. HorseBetting’s New South Wales racing analyst presents you with his best bets, value bet and quaddie numbers for the program, which is set to be run on a Good 4 track. The rail will be out 2m from the 1300m to the 450m and true for the remainder of the course.
Best Bet at Hawkesbury – Beirut Miss
Three-year-old filly Beirut Miss looks ready to win in her third career start following back-to-back runner-up performances at Warwick Farm. The form around Pretty Wild and Glacier Queen looks very good for this provincial maiden, so we expect the daughter of Al Maher to be too classy on Thursday. While barrier 17 is far from ideal, Sam Clipperton will send the Joseph Pride-trained filly forward early and give them something to catch.
Best Bet
Race 4 – #1 Beirut Miss (17)
3yo Filly | T: Joseph Pride | J: Sam Clipperton (59.5kg)

Next Best at Hawkesbury – Glint Of Silver
David Pfeiffer and Hugh Bowman combine in the fifth race with of the afternoon with two-year-old colt Glint Of Silver. The son of Rubick made his debut in the Inglis Nursery back in December, before running 10th behind Fireburn and Revolutionary Miss in Sydney. The grey colt trialled well in May and June, prior to running well at Goulburn first-up over 1000m. After getting back early, Glint Of Silver made up a tonne of ground to run fourth, finishing just four lengths off the winner. He stays at 1000m on Thursday, gets Hugh Bowman in the saddle and has drawn a bit nicer in barrier nine to get the job done.
Next Best
Race 5 – #10 Glint Of Silver (9)
2yo Colt | T: David Pfeiffer | J: Hugh Bowman (56.5kg)

Best Value at Hawkesbury – Extraweird
Extraweird lines up in just her third start on Thursday as she looks for her second career victory. The Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou-trained filly wonwell on debut at Hawkesbury by over two lengths, before bumping into a smart one in Po Kare Kare at Gosford on June 9. From barrier 13, apprentice hoop Zac Lloyd will likely send the daughter of Xtravagant forward under the 55kg, which should see her prove hard to beat.
