The four-year-old gelding has had four consecutive runs between the 1100m-1200m to start the preparation and looks ready for a step-up in trip, which is exactly what he gets in this BM66 contest. He boasts two wins across his three starts at Grafton, and provided he can lob into a handy position from barrier eight, punters can expect My Mum’s Toyboy to add to his tally.

Righteous Brother looks too big a price with horse racing bookmakers heading into this third-up assignment. The Rubick gelding hit the line well over 1300m at Ballina on October 6, and although he got his chance, the four-year-old appeared to hit a flat spot in a slowly run affair. The extra 100m should be ideal, and although he may be getting back from barrier 11, the $41.00 available seems too big for a horse on the brink of his maiden victory.
