Mick Price and Michael Kent (Jnr) are planning to put their gelding Globe through a workout at Moonee Valley on Tuesday morning as part of his preparations for his anticipated comeback in the Group 2 Feehan Stakes (1600m) on Saturday.
Globe has emerged as the frontrunner with online bookmakers opening at odds of +200 ahead of the Group 2 event at The Valley.
The five-year-old horse has shown performance boasting a record of four wins from four starts.
It will be Globe’s first venture into stakes level racing at The Valley with talented jockey Jamie Kah guiding him along the way.
Price explained, “Globe is scheduled for a 1200-metre gallop at Moonee Valley on Tuesday morning”
“We don’t want to overly excite him; he’s quite spirited by nature. Each morning, he comes out ready for action, as if he’s wearing boxing gloves.
“It’s essential for him to acquaint himself with Moonee Valley, particularly with its three corners given the mile distance.”
In addition, to Globe, stablemate Charm Stone a Group 3 winner will also be seen galloping at Moonee Valley on Tuesday morning.
She is getting ready, for her race the Atlantic Jewel Stakes (Listed, 1200m) which will be held at Moonee Valley this Saturday.
