Healesville straight track specialist Duncan should be the ‘punters’ mate’, according to The Watchdog.
He’s won six from nine (67%) over the 300m trip here, with a flying 16.50sec PB. And overall, he’s notched eight wins from 15 starts.
“With empty draws on either side, he should get every chance to balance up and hit top gear very early and will take a power of beating,” The Watchdog said.
However, the expert form analyst also highly rates improving ‘new kid on the block’, Louis The Legend who has won six races from only 10 starts, including four of his past five (80%).
“This is clearly his toughest test, but he appears up to the challenge,” he added.
And The Watchdog also respects the experienced Superior Wallis, who is four from eight over this track/distance (50%) with a slick 16.60sec PB.
“He’s likely to be giving the other two a head-start early but will be strong late.”
