The nine-race program was scheduled to host the Group 1 Doomben Cup (2000m) where Zaaki was a long odds-on favourite.
Other feature races included the Queensland Oaks lead-in race, Group 2 The Roses (2000m), as well as the Group 3 BRC Sprint (1350m) and Group 3 Pam O’Neill Stakes (1600m).
More details are set to come throughout the course of the day as to when and where the meeting will be conducted.
The decision was made early in the week to rule out racing at Eagle Farm, giving the newly reconstructed course a break before next weekend’s Queensland Derby and Kingsford Smith Cup meeting.
