G1 National Futurity winner Idolize faces Pink Diamond runner-up Simba’s Girl, the in-form Ladies Get Grace and prolific winner Whistling Bullet in a Great Eight event over 395m at Traralgon tonight.
G2 finalist Dynamic Prince – a kennelmate of Idolize – is eyeing his seventh win from his last nine starts in a Great Eight race over 450m, but multiple G2 placegetter Lots Of Chatter and El Dorado (won three straight) are big dangers.
Action Girl (won 12 from 17) and Pink Diamond Princess winner Patriot Earhart stand out in their respective Great Eight events at Ballarat this evening, while TAB Phoenix runner True Collinda backs up from her first-up win at Bendigo.
Pink Diamond runner-up Jungle Panther and Kinrock Star clash at The Meadows this afternoon.

TAB fixed odds: $1.40 Place (Top two finish required)
Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666538743/race/12
The Watchdog says : MEPUNGA RAIDER (5) has gone to another level in his past two races and he appears to be the real deal. JUNGLE PANTHER (4) can be a little hit or miss early but there is a very slow beginner drawn on his outside, so he will get every chance to balance up and he can assume control as they head to the back straight. NATTEO BALE (2) is looking for this journey and the small field should suit, so with an ounce of luck, a top-two finish looks likely.

The Watchdog says : MOTIVE (8) has turned in some stellar performances to date and this looks to be his race. BELLE VIOLIN (6) has been costly of late, but she is armed with a mighty finish, and she will appreciate the smaller line-up. WILSON BALE (1) is airborne at present, and he is drawn to make every post a winner.
Multi price: $2.83
$3 Place – KISS YOUR LIPS
Must Watch Race
Great 8 Regional Series
Ballarat Race 7
Box 1 390m 8:58pm
TAB fixed odds: $3.70 Place
The Watchdog says : KISS YOUR LIPS (1) runs into a few smart ones tonight, but she should get every chance to feature from the inside draw. She is armed with handy early speed, so a clean getaway can see her punch up early and hold a top-four spot through the bend and she is quite strong in the run home over this journey. At the price, she represents great value.
‘Must Watch Race’ Preview :
Pink Diamond Rookie Short Course winner LEKTRA GAL (5) has continued to get better with more racing and if she can reproduce her performance from last time, she should be in the mix again tonight. However, there is a stack of early speed in this event, and she may not get things her own way in front. ACTION GIRL (3) has an amazing strike rate having won 12 from 17 and she has destroyed the clock everywhere she has gone. She is normally very reliable at box rise and the speedy SINFUL ANGEL (2) should give her a nice cart across in the initial stages. JELLY BEAN JOJO (7) has shown sizzling early speed in her four runs to date and with a clear passage, she has the potential to run sub 21.90sec. ASTON PROFIT (8) is a prolific winner and normally comes out running, so she should be in the firing line for most of the journey.
