Sandown Park Race 1 Box 3 515m 6:54pm
TAB fixed odds: $7 Place

The Watchdog says : She has turned in some handy performances of late and she finds herself in a race which suits. There is plenty of early pace engaged in this event, so I’m expecting there to be some bumping up front and that should allow her to get a nice run through mid-race and she will be very strong in the run home. At the current price, she appears to be well over the odds.

TAB fixed odds: $1.55 Place (Top two finish required)
Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666543013/race/9
The Watchdog says : SIR CHAPPY (4) is racing with confidence, and he is armed with a slick turn of foot, so if he can clear GREYSYND SHOCK (3) early on, he should be able to hit the scoreboard. ROHAN BALE (3) was big here last Thursday night and with a clear run early, he should be in the mix once again. THAT’LL DO NEO (4) is racing with confidence at present and he should be able to assume control at the first bend.

TAB fixed odds: $1.35 Place
Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666543014/race/10
The Watchdog says : TYPHOON SAMMY (3) has a bit on these and he should be leading from go to whoa. I’m a big fan of INDY FIDO (3) and with the inside two runners expected to hold a forward spot early, he should be able to find the rail initially and work into the top two as they head through the bend. TITAN BLAZER (8) is ideally drawn out wide and he should be finishing in the top three.
Multi price: $4.74
$3 Place – WEBLEC RANGER
Must Watch Race
Fifth heat of the Group 2 Warrnambool Cup
Warrnambool Race 7
Box 2 450m 9:13pm
TAB fixed odds: $2.40 Place
The Watchdog says : COMPLIANCE (1) is going to take a power of beating, however WEBLEC RANGER (2) has gone to another level of late and he represents value to run a place. He should be able to follow the Group 2 Ballarat Cup winner early and he will be in the top three throughout.
‘Must Watch Race’ Preview :
Group 2 Ballarat Cup winner COMPLIANCE (1) looks poised to qualify for another country cup final. His past two runs have been over the unsuitable 520m journey, so we need to forgive those defeats and over 450m tonight, we should see the best of him. He has some steady beginners drawn on his outside, so if he can step on terms, he should be able to pounce on the lead and he will be carving out time. The classy BAROOGA SMOKE (4) appears to be the likely danger. He has won here previously in a blistering 24.91sec and he will be very strong in the run home. NIKOLI BALE (3) hasn’t won in a while, but he has turned in some great performances of late and he is capable of causing an upset, while the powerful WEBLEC RANGER (2) has gone to another level in recent months.
