Multiple Group 2 placegetter Lots Of Chatter is expected to register his 35th win at start 100 this afternoon in a 425m Free For All at Bendigo, but his kennelmate and G2 runner-up Aston Shine will be determined to spoil the party.
G3 finalist Zigzag Cabang stands out in a Grade 5 500m heat, while Kraken Skye v Shepparton Classic finalist Jungle Panther v Sandown Park 29.24 winner Cybertruck v Shepparton Classic runner-up In A Blue should be a great battle.
G3 winner Plaintiff, Storm Stroller – victorious in six of his last seven races – and prolific winner Rocket Boy are in action at Geelong this evening.

Bendigo Race 8
Box 2 425m 5:34pm
TAB fixed odds: $2.20 Place
The Watchdog says : TRENDING AIR (2) takes on a few good ones here, but she normally has brilliant early speed, and she should be able to sit outside or just behind multiple Group 2 placegetter LOTS OF CHATTER (1) for most of the journey, and that should see her hit the scoreboard.
‘Must Watch Race’ Preview :
LOTS OF CHATTER (1) has now been placed in three Group 2 country cup finals and he returns to one of his favourite tracks today. There is a fair bit of early pace on his outside, however he is still racing with tremendous confidence and he should be able to hold the top and boot away through the bend. Today marks his 100th start and if he does everything right, he should chalk up win number 35. His kennelmate ASTON SHINE (4) is a multiple Group 2 finalist, and he will be looking to atone for some luckless runs of late. The middle pin isn’t ideal, but he has slow beginners on either side, so he should be able to get into the clear quickly. STUDLEY (7) is consistent and he will be on the pace from the outset, while lid pinger TRENDING AIR (2) can cause an upset.

The Watchdog says : He has been ultra-impressive since moving to Victoria and the vacant draw inside is a huge advantage. If he can step on terms, he should find the rail early on and assume control well before they head into the first turn. With the ability to run sub 23.70sec, they will have a hard time reeling him in.
