Expatriate Kiwi trainers Emma-Lee and David Browne, who operate out of Pakenham in Victoria, will take a lowkey approach to the campaign of their talented rising four-year-old Basilinna.

The lightly raced filly has placed in the Group 3 Ethereal (2000m), the Group 1 VRC Oaks (2500m), and Group 2 Kewney Stakes (1600m).

However, Emma-Lee Browne suggested they will lower the bar for Basilinna in her next campaign.

“She’s only won one race. She’s done her time in the deep end,” Browne told Racing.com.

“We’re pretty excited about her and what we can do but we will be taking it easy.

“There are a lot of nice fillies and mares races in the spring, which we think we will target.”
