Benedetta finally secured a well-deserved maiden elite-level victory in Group 1 The Goodwood (1200m) in May.
Jason Warren isn’t wasting any time aiming for another top-level win with the mare, as she’s set to run first-up in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on September 27.
After enjoying a spell at Eureka Stud in Toowoomba, the rising five-year-old has returned to Victoria.
“She went there and had four nice weeks with the sun on her back after her Stradbroke run and she’s now back with us in light work,” Warren told Racing.com.
“She looks absolutely terrific.”
Benedetta is currently a +2500 winning chance with horse racing bookmakers for the Manikato Stakes.
