Traralgon GRC Update

Please be advised that race meetings scheduled for Traralgon on Friday 12 August and Monday 15 August have been cancelled whilst remedial works at the track continue. The following replacement race meetings have been added to the calendar: Sale Friday 12 August (Twilight) – Provincial Full Stakes (Preference to Maiden, Grade 7 & Grade 6)Healesville Monday 15 August (Day) – Tier 3 Meeting Traralgon GRC is now proposed to return to racing on Wednesday 17 August.

Gippsland star snares St. Leger

Freakishly talented Kilmany greyhound Mr. Audacious won the $37,250 Warragul St. Leger Final on Friday night in a sizzling front-running display. Rachael Bussitil’s sprinter made it 12 wins from 15 starts when clocking a scorching 25.54sec. Meanwhile, Sally Intention ($8.90) – trained at Pearcedale by Todd O’Neill – made her intentions felt  in the $9170 President’s Cup (680m). Healesville set to resume

Healesville has been cleared to proceed racing on Sunday 7 August following remedial works. The club will take centre stage over the next six Sundays with its rich Healesville Festival of Racing, starting with heats of the Victorian Straight Track Championship this Sunday and culminating with the Group 2 Healesville Cup Final on 11 September.
