Aft Cabin has returned to racing in great form toying with his rivals in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes, as James McDonald eased the star three-year-old colt down in the final 75m to record an effortless first-up victory.
After jumping well, this son of Astern sat in the one-one behind the leaders, and as they turned the home corner there was no doubt about who was going to win the race.
McDonald pushed the button and Aft Cabin kicked clear and put the race to bed with 200m to go.
James Cummings and McDonald combined to take out the feature event at Randwick on Saturday, while the latter has once again taken out both features and a handful of winners.
Aft Cabin looks to be ticking over nicely on his way to the Randwick Guineas, where he is currently a $2 favourite with online bookmakers after his arrogant win in the Eskimo Prince.

James Cummings spoke about his star colt’s impressive win post-race.
“He’s had a good spell and provided that he continues to return to scale after performances like that, and looks in perfect health, I feel like he’s in for a wonderful campaign,” Cummings said.
“We can sit down and enjoy nominating him for all the good races on Tuesday.
“Look he’s got do it, the pressure is on our horse and he’s going to be put in the position to deliver when the big moments come around in his sport.
“He’s flying. There is no doubt about it, he’s a class horse and the race stacked up.
“He’s been down south of the Murray and now his target is to proceed towards the Hobartville and that will be the ideal lead up to the Randwick Guineas two weeks later.
“One start for one win at Randwick and he’ll be back hopefully in a month’s time looking a million dollars.”
McDonald had nothing but compliments for his mount post-race.
“He oozes such quality and floats across the ground,” McDonald said.
“Unbelievable turn of foot.
“He can only improve off today’s outing, he’s an oo-la-la.
“He will come to hand I think and will only get better as he gets deeper into the prep.”
