Racing Queensland and the Gold Coast Turf Club advise that The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday will be staged at Aquis Park on Saturday.
Earlier on Thursday morning, senior jockeys galloped on the course proper and deemed it safe to ride, including the remediated area near the 500m mark.
Queensland Racing Integrity Commission stewards also inspected the track and have approved the 10-race feature card proceeding at Gold Coast Turf Club.
Queensland Jockeys’ Association General Manager Glen Prentice said the feedback from those who rode this morning was overwhelmingly positive.
“All six riders were unanimous in their view that the track rode well and will be safe for participants,” Mr Prentice said.
Saturday’s 10-race program is set to commence at 12:30pm AEST, headlined by the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) and Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m).
