The Group 3 Eurythmic Stakes will headline the massive nine-race card at Ascot this Saturday afternoon. With no rain forecast in the lead-up, the track is expected to stay in the Good range for the whole meeting. The rail will be pushed out to the +4m position for the entire circuit, with racing set to kick off at 12:36pm AWST.
Eurythmic Stakes tip: Super Smink
Super Smink returned from a 16-week spell in the Listed Black Heart Bart Stakes at Belmont with a slashing third-place finish behind Mood Swings and Phanta over 1200m. After drawing a wide barrier (14), Lucy Fiore took the Daniel Morton-trained mare to the back of the field and picked her way through the field in the home straight to run into the placings. With a similar shape expected in the Eurythmic Stakes, Super Smink will only need even luck to spring a surprise at double figure odds with horse racing bookmakers.

Best Bet at Ascot: In Good Order
In Good Order has finished in the quinella in each of his three starts this time in, including two impressive victories over 1600m at Belmont. The Daniel Morton-trained gelding defeated Simply in both wins and that runner has gone onto win his next two starts, which is good form for this guy going forward. Chris Parnham has a strong affiliation with In Good Order (8:4-2-0), and if he can keep him out of trouble, he will be winning again.

Next Best at Ascot: Miss Flirtacious
Following a dominant win first-up, Miss Flirtacious struggled to run out a strong 1200m in her last start, which has led Luke Fernie to drop his mare back to 1000m here. The daughter of Safeguard settled outside the leader second-up, battled on gamely but couldn’t go with the placegetters, and finished fourth. Now that she has two solid runs under her belt, Chris Parnham will push forward and settle behind a strong speed from barrier five. If Miss Flirtacious lets down like she did fresh, she will prove very hard to beat.

Best Value at Ascot: Pull The Trigger
Pull The Trigger may not have beaten much at Geraldton first-up; however, the Daniel & Ben Pearce-trained galloper had to sustain a long run in the final 600m to record a one-length victory over 1413m. After settling at the rear of the field, Natasha Faithfull got the son of Patronize moving before the turn, and he maintained the sprint before being eased down late. The stable has engaged William Pike for the second run of this preparation, and from barrier two, Pull The Trigger can settle closer to the speed and show a strong finish.
