After finishing a disappointing eighth in the Group 2 Run To The Rose (1200m) last weekend, the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Bustling is set to continue his campaign in the Listed Heritage Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill on September 28.

The three-year-old gelding is aiming to get back on track for a start in The Everest (1200m).

“He was very disappointing given he trialled so well,” Price told Racing.com following Saturday’s race.

“He was a bit funny behind Sunday morning, not trotting out 100 percent behind, so we have a bit of work to do on him to see if we can get him cherry (ripe).

“We will stick to our plan, however, and run him in two weeks’ time and then hopefully into The Everest.”

Bustling is currently a +3300 winning chance with horse racing bookmakers for The Everest.
