Jockey Nash Rawiller, who has been performing well with a 19% win rate in his 100 rides, will be absent from the Stradbroke Handicap event due to a suspension for careless riding.
The suspension was imposed after he was found guilty of allowing his horse to shift in and cause interference during a race at Warwick Farm.
Despite pleading guilty and accepting the consequences, Rawiller will miss races including the Stradbroke Handicap, the JJ Atkins, the Q22, and the Brisbane Cup.
His suspension will start after his races at Eagle Farm.
He is expected to return to racing on June 19th.
This suspension comes as a setback for the veteran jockey, who has a history of success in these events.
