Pulchritudinous, the last-start Group 1 New Zealand Oaks (2400m) victor, will mark her debut for Tulloch Lodge this Saturday as she gears up for the Group 1 Australasian Oaks (2000m) at Morphettville.

“She is a beautiful filly who was so impressive in New Zealand,” expressed Gai Waterhouse, who trains in partnership with Adrian Bott, to Racing.com.

Waterhouse, a Hall of Fame co-trainer, aims to clinch her second victory in the Adelaide Classic, with Tempest Morn being her sole previous winner in 2001.

“The big track at Morphettville will really suit her. I think she’s quite a special filly,” Waterhouse added, emphasizing her confidence in Pulchritudinous’s abilities.

Tim Clark has been enlisted to guide Pulchritudinous, who was valued at +800 with horse racing bookmakers before final acceptances.
