Slay Queen debuts for the Peter & Paul Snowden barn on the back of two promising barrier trials. The daughter of Star Witness was ridden with cover throughout her most recent outing at Randwick on March 22 before being asked to make minor inroads down the centre of the course. It was a good piece of education for the two-year-old, and although she draws awkwardly in gate 10, trust Jett Stanley to drag her back towards the rear before unleashing Slay Queen down the middle to score.

Although Rockbarton Icon is winless heading into start six for the David Atkins barn, the son of Prized Icon has never run a bad race.
