The Group 3 Quezette Stakes (1100m) has attracted a near-capacity field of 15 three-year-old fillies to Caulfield this Saturday.
Despite not being seen since finishing sixth in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Sandown, Charm Stone from the Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr barn has opened as a $3.70 favourite with online bookmakers for her first run as a three-year-old.
The one-time Blue Diamond Stakes favourite has warmed up with a comfortable victory in a 800m trial at Cranbourne on August 7 and will be hoping to add the Quezette Stakes to her win in the Group 3 Ottawa Stakes (1000m) during the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival.
