Best Bet at Terang: Just A Rebel
Symon Wilde and Josh Cartwright are set to combine with our best bet of the day Just A Rebel who will be looking to build on her debut campaign where she finished second at both starts. The lightly raced five-year-old mare was narrowly beaten by the smart Toregene on debut, before running into Bold Hoi Ho at her second start. She has a racing pattern which is hard to knock, where she jumps cleanly from the barriers, settles to the lead and offers a kick when up on speed. She looks to benefit hugely jumping from barrier one for this first-up assignment and in an event where she should gain an uncontested lead throughout, Cartwright should be able to rate her perfectly and bring up maiden success at start three.

Next Best at Terang: Dillinger
You will not see many better form lines than what the Tony & Calvin McEvoy-trained Dillinger brings to Terang on Monday. The three-year-old gelding finished four-lengths off Caulfield Guineas winner Golden Mile on debut on April 5 and only two-lengths off the smart Kings Consort in the same event. He had one run during the spring for a minor placing on the Pakenham Synthetic, but we expect it will be third times a charm for him on Monday. He has been gelded between preps which should help him settle and with wanting to be up on speed, it should only benefit him throughout this campaign. With a couple of smart jumpouts under his belt, we expect Dillinger to be running away with the prize and saluting at a nice price with online bookmakers.

Best Value at Terang: Dance Of Thunder
In the penultimate race of the day, we are hoping the Group 1 winning combination of Lindsey Smith and Jarrod Fry can strike with Dance Of Thunder. The five-year-old gelding comes to Terang third-up from a spell on the back of an unlucky run here at the Terang 1200m on December 20. He is a runner who needs to build through his gears and struggled to find clear air until it was too late to go down by just over two lengths in an eye-catching performance. He draws wide for this, but considering he wants clear air and the ability to build momentum, it should not be too much of a deterrent to his chances. He should be approaching peak fitness and considering he has a win and a minor placing to his name when third-up in the past, Dance Of Thunder looks a great play.
