What Eagle Farm Races
Where Eagle Farm Racecourse – 230 Lancaster Rd, Ascot QLD 4007
When Tuesday, November 1, 2022
First Race 11:33am AEST

Eagle Farm races are back on the short three-day turnaround with a massive nine-race card to take place this Tuesday. The track is rated a Good 4 heading in, but with plenty of rain forecast for race-day, we except a downgrade at some stage throughout proceedings. The rail edges out 10m for the entire circuit and racing kicks off at 11:33am AEST.

Best Bet: Circularity

Trained by Richard & Will Freedman, Circularity comes to this 1200m contest in terrific form after running a bold second placing behind Le Palmier at this track on October 8 over 1000m. This gelding by Time For War was only beaten 1.5 lengths while being first-up and looks to improve here with fitness and a step up in trip. Going back through his form through Zac De Boss at BM75 level reads well for this on Tuesday afternoon, plus his win prior at Wagga Wagga on May 6 by 0.8 lengths. From the perfect barrier draw and conditions to suit in this race, Circularity looks a keen play for us. Samantha Collett will get the perfect run-in transit before pushing the button turning for home. He looks well placed.

Next Best: Sacramento Joe

Sacramento Joe looks ready to win fourth-up this preparation for the Kris Lees’ stable and looks a great bet with top online bookmakers. This gelding by Pivotal looks to have some key form-lines in this fixture with a cracking run second-up behind Otyrar at Doomben on September 14, going down by 1.7 lengths, then proceeded to swoop home late and just miss the winner’s enclosure again at the Sunshine Coast on September 28. He’s been close but no cigar this campaign, however with a step up to the 2431m in this race, plus a significant drop in opposition to BM65 here, he should make it career win number three. Andrew Mallyon gets the ride after just missing out last start, but this time he’ll be eating up the ground late to score.

Best Value: Tiritiri

The Chris Waller-trained Tiritiri gets the value tag this Tuesday afternoon after two very strong efforts so far this campaign. His first-up tilt behind Enzina was excellent getting back in the field and almost breaking his maiden status in his first career start, but it wasn’t to be just missing out by 1 length. Just completely forget he went around second-up on a very heavy Warwick Farm track on October 12, he simply didn’t handle the conditions and showed enough going to the line to say he’s got a chance to break his maiden in this company. This set up is very indicative of Waller and his team, who tend to send this Sydney based gallopers up north to get a victory under the radar, but we aren’t going to miss this one. If Samantha Collett can snag a midfield sit with some cover, this gelding by Ocean Park can be a major player here at the each-way odds.
