GAP/GRV Ambassadors from AFL and Rugby League will be at the Melbourne Royal Show!
High-profile Greyhound Adoption Program ambassadors Brent ‘Boomer’ Harvey and Ryan Papenhuyzen will be live at the Melbourne Royal Show tomorrow, Tuesday September 27, to meet fans and join the lines to meet greyhounds.
Boomer Harvey has played more AFL games than any other, and Ryan, although he’s missed most of the 2022 season through injury, is one of NRL’s most enduring superstars.
Although they come from different codes, the one thing they share is a great love for greyhounds and greyhound racing.
The GAP activation at the Melbourne Royal Show is the highlight of the year for the many volunteers and owners who love sharing their stories about their adoptees, and the dogs themselves can’t get enough of the pats, scratches and attention…
Boomer Harvey will be at the GAP stand from noon – 1.15 and will be joined by Ryan Papenhuyzen will join him at 1pm – 2.15.
The GAP stand is located in the new Nine Lifestyle & Local Heroes Pavilion (near gate 1) and will be active every day of the Show until Sunday October 2. We (and the greyhounds) can’t wait to see you there.
