While Passive Aggressive was all the rage heading into the Group 3 Cockram Stakes (1200m), the other unbeaten mare Chain Of Lightning was who came out on top in the Caulfield feature.
Now five wins from as many starts, the Peter Moody-trained grey mare has gone from strength-to-strength in her short career, progressing from an Inverell maiden in January to Group 3 success in August.
The four-year-old by Fighting Sun had an ideal run in transit under Jamie Kah, putting Passive Aggressive away comfortably in the concluding stages, while She’s All Class and Kissonallforcheeks hit the line strongly to fill the minor placings.
Passive Aggressive was only able to hang on for fourth, despite heavy backing in the final minutes before the jump.

Jamie Kah told Racing.com that the sky is the limit for the unbeaten mare now.
“This horse is honest, tough, but got the ability to go along with it,” Kah said.
“She impressed me her last start at Flemington, but today was something else. She settled, got back and had an enormous turn of foot to run down a nice horse as well.
“At the moment, the sky is the limit with her. She doesn’t know how to lose – just a tough mare – and I think whatever he finds for her, she’ll be very competitive in it.”
The stable haven’t set any plans for the promising mare, but previous winners have targeted races like the How Now Stakes (1200m), Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) and Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m), so there are a number of options moving forward.
