The Watchdog says : Group 2 Ballarat Cup champion COMPLIANCE (1) should hold the top early and he will prove hard to reel in, while the powerful BIG OPAL ROCKS (3) just needs a clear crack mid-race. We have included ASTON TANGO (6) and DO IT (7) for second in the hope of securing some value.
‘Must Watch Race’ Preview :
COMPLIANCE (1) is drawn to hold the early lead and he tends to race best on one-bend tracks; however, he has raced well here in the past and he was narrowly beaten in the Group 1 Silver Chief Final earlier this year. BIG OPAL ROCKS (3) is one of the most gifted chasers in training and with three wins from four attempts here, he just needs an ounce of luck in running. DYNAMIC PRINCE (2) has always shown enormous potential and he has gone to another level with four wins in his past five starts. The last 30m is a slight concern but he should pressure COMPLIANCE for most of the journey and he will be in the mix as they turn for home.
