The track is rated a Soft 6, the rail is in the true position, and racing is set to get underway at 11:32am ACST.

Best Bet at Murray Bridge: Birdies Galore

Having won her first two career starts, the Patrick Payne-trained Birdies Galore looks perfectly placed to bring up three wins in a row. The two-year-old filly was scratched from the midweek meeting at Sandown, where she was a similar price to what she goes around at on Saturday at Murray Bridge. This looks to be a planned assault from the stable, as she looks almost certain to gain an uncontested lead throughout and will take a power of running down with Angus Chung on board claiming 3kg once again. The Spieth filly has won her two starts by a combined five lengths, and we expect she will be putting a sizeable gap on her rivals in this. Make sure to add Birdie Galore in all your multi bets on Saturday with online betting sites.

Next Best at Murray Bridge: Hanabi

Having not been seen at the races since October 9, 2021, the Phillip Stokes-trained Hanabi will only build on what she does on Saturday, but she simply looks too good for this lot. The three-year-old filly has trialled up a treat in the lead up to this, winning her two outings by 4.7 lengths and 12.8 lengths respectively. She finished second in both of her previous first-up runs in her career, but from barrier 10 and with a genuine want to lead the field up, Hanabi should be putting a space on this lot. Kayla Crowther has been aboard the Pride Of Dubai filly in both of the trials and sticks on board here, which is a massive push. The $2.40 available with Neds looks the perfect price for Hanabi in the opening leg of the quaddie.

Best Value at Murray Bridge: Castle Of Kings

We were with the Will Clarken-trained Castle Of Kings when he was second-up from a spell at the Murray Bridge 1400m, finishing fifth. With clearer air in running, he would have finished much closer than what the 1.3-length margin suggests. He drops back to the 1200m for this third-up run, a trip he won at as a short-priced favourite when resuming from a spell at Gawler on May 11. Having won his only previous start when third-up into a campaign, we anticipate the Castledale gelding will take some running down if he is anywhere near his best. From barrier 12, look for Todd Pannell to take up the running, and in a race where he looks the only leader on paper, Castle Of Kings shapes as a great bet at each-way odds.
