Racing heads to Kilmore on Tuesday afternoon, and HorseBetting’s Victorian tipping expert presents his best bets and free quaddie picks with odds from the best online bookmakers. The track is rated a Good 4 and the rail out 3m, while racing is set to commence at 1:30pm AEDT.

Kilmore Best Bet – Lady Hampton

Our best bet comes from the Jason Warren & Dean Krongold stable when Lady Hampton looks to break her maiden at start three. Having begun her career with consecutive runner-up performances, the three-year-old filly out of Hampton Court looks well placed to break through at Kilmore. She produced a nice turn of foot at Pakenham on January 13 when running on from the rear of the field, but ultimately she found one better. This maiden field is no harder than what she almost defeated last time out, so with a similar performance she will be hard to beat. From barrier five, look for Daniel Stackhouse to have the bay filly settled in the second half of the field, from where a strong turn of foot should see her finishing over the top of her rivals.

Next Best At Kilmore – Armed

In the third leg of the quaddie we will be cheering home the Danny O’Brien-trained Armed, who returns to Kilmore on the back of a dominant maiden win on January 11. The three-year-old son of American Pharoah settled out of the leader on that day and was quick to put the field away inside the final furlong. He had a 1.25-length gap on his rival back in second and some seven lengths back to third, suggesting the win was more than handy. Damian Lane sticks on board, which is a massive bonus, and from barrier two we expect to see Frosty settle up on the pace. With speed drawn underneath, we expect Armed to take a trail on the leaders’ heels and prove too good for this lot in her step up to BM58 company.

Best Value at Kilmore – Little Pickle

We will be chasing a bit of value in the second leg of the quaddie with the Jason Warren & Dean Krongold-trained Little Pickle. The four-year-old Unencumbered mare was a complete horror show at Moonee Valley on December 31 when settling three wide with no cover up on speed. Prior to that effort, she was a smart maiden winner at Moe when eased down on the line back on December 17. She gains the services of Beau Mertens and from barrier two is set to gain a suck run in transit. Assuming Little Pickle can produce a similar effort to what she did at Moe two starts back, we are more than happy to take the $18 on offer at Sportsbet.
