It’s no secret… G1 Silver Chief finalist Aussie Secret (21 from 44) is the star attraction racing in Victoria tonight when he lines up in a Free For All at Warragul.
He’ll exit Box 1, from which he’s won five from eight, and it’s worth noting he won the recent Pink Diamond Champion Short Course series, defeating Ferdinand Boy, who went on to break Shepparton’s 385m track record in yesterday’s ‘Must Watch’ race of the day. Replay
Will Aussie Secret get near Warragul’s 22.07sec track record?
A great battle looms between ex-SA star Fly For Trix (18 from 28) v Lots Of Chatter (G2 Cranbourne Cup finalist) v Interrogate (won 3 of past 4), while in other highlights on the card Hennessey is defending his unbeaten Warragul record (4 from 4) and former NSW star Overshadowed (4 from 5 Box 1) his chasing his first win on Victorian soil.
Meanwhile, three-time Group finalist Earn The Answers should have all the answers at Horsham this afternoon, although he will have to overcome the talented Amarillo Highway (3rd G2 Maitland Cup).

AUSSIE SECRET The Clock
Warragul Race 7 400m 8:45pm
Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666541435/race/7
The Watchdog says : AUSSIE SECRET (1) headlines the card at Warragul tonight and he should really test the clock. Two runs back, he captured the Pink Diamond Champion Short Course Final at Bendigo, and he exits the same draw tonight. He has been a tremendous chaser throughout his career having won 21 of 44 and he is near faultless at box rise, so with another clean getaway he should be able to fire through and hold the top spot as they head into the bend. In recent months he has been able to put some serious times on the board, so with a clear passage tonight he could go well under the 22.30sec mark. MY FAITH (4) has a great record at Warragul and she is racing with a lot of confidence the moment, so with the empty draw on her outside she should get enough room to muster pace and settle in the quinella spot. DR. ARCHER (8) has won three of four here and is improving with each run, so if the top elect happens to miss the kick he could be there to cause an upset.

The Watchdog says : GOLDEN YEARS (1) is a track specialist and from the inside draw there should be no excuses. POSTMAN PETE (1) has been solid since resuming and he is drawn to get all the favours. ERIC GARFIELD (7) is improving all the time and he will appreciate the empty draw on his inside so a top two finish looks likely. GUNAI OUTLAW (3) is a star talent, and he should pounce on the early lead and figure in the finish.

$3 Place – NORWEGIAN WOOD
Warragul Race 1 Box 1 460m 6:42pm
TAB fixed odds: $4.60 Place
Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666541435/race/1
The Watchdog says : NORWEGIAN WOOD (1) has turned in two handy performances to date and she will continue to improve with more racing. She will need some room early but with a slow beginner on her outside, she will get plenty of room to balance up and settle in a prominent position. If she can settle in the top four, she should be able to finish in the money.

The Watchdog says : PAUA OF MINDY (3) is a serious prospect, and she is expected to fire first up from a spell. BRANSON BALE (8) is improving all the time and he should get all the breaks from the favourable draw. OVERSHADOWED (1) had little luck in his Victorian debut and he is drawn to make amends tonight.
