Thursday you beautiful bastard, we love you that little bit more this week because the third test is about to start and we have four gallops meetings to keep us going in the lead up to a big weekend of racing!
Yet Another Track Issue?!
Have this to say when I was at Eagle Farm Agronomy costs $250,000 now a million why https://t.co/qxYCp0u5PP

Yesterday it was Tamworth, today it’s Eagle Farm. AGAIN. Trainers who have had runners at Eagle Farm had expressed concern about the condition of the track and now the jockey’s have backed the trainer’s concerns. Jockey’s have said over recent weeks that the track is too soft and loose on top which causes their mounts to not let down to full capacity.
The track is set to host three consecutive Thursday meetings beginning on January 14th, and if there’s any issues to come out of those meetings you would think people will lose their shit. The track has already been ripped up twice, and some trainers are pushing for the track to be pulled up for a third time. Surely it’s the third time the charm?
Another Price get’s a win
Congratulations to Ben Price who has ridden his first race winner – his career is off to a cracking start. pic.twitter.com/WfOXtOSEEy

How athletically challenged do you feel when siblings are at the top of their game and you’re there opening up another packet of Burger Rings? Well Ben Price, brother of Will rode his first winner in the second race on the Bordertown card when steering home Spanish Heirloom to victory in just his third ever ride. With the Adelaide carnival coming up in May, there could be a chance that Will and Ben Price go head to head in a race in South Australia, but if that doesn’t happen we have no doubt one day they will come head to head and there will be plenty on the line when that happens!
Annabel strikes again!
@annabelneasham take a bow! The first year trainer presents Queen of Wizardry in brilliant order on debut finishing with a bang in @mmsnippets QTIS 2YO’s at Eagle Farm . Ridden cold by @smthornton99 the filly thundered her way towards the @mmsnippets. #QldisRacing pic.twitter.com/QDlfnSlH6G

What does Annabel Neasham have over Chris Waller? Neasham had acquired Mo’unga from the Waller stable in December, and has since been handed three more gallopers from Waller in Global Quest, Osamu and Olmedo. The former French galloper Olmedo had competed in the Kennedy Cantala and The Gong to show that he is touted as being a genuine Group 1 contender on Australian shores. So whatever it is that Neasham has over the star trainer we’d like to know, or if she is this good of a businesswoman at striking up deals, we need her to convince the Mrs to let us watch all five days of the Sydney test uninterrupted.
