‘The local’ is looking forward to Methven becoming the speed capital of New Zealand for one day, as the club hosts the trotters and pacers green miles highlighting a big day of really tough fields, where as with the last meeting here, big prices may well be the order of the day.

Race 2 – Talented Shandon Belles to beat improving Mentalist and favourite Aldabaron Floss, exotics Dashing Dutchy and bolter Bourbon On The Rocks.
Race 3 – Givemewhatineed improving in the manners department all the time to trump Paul’s Verdict consistent Makasar Boy multiples Syska Lane and Refine.
Race 4 – Really even trot many chances here but in one Appearance over Abadabado and local hope DD’s Super Stuart others Fast Whispering and possible favourite in Test The Boundaries.
Race 5 – Promising filly in Dixie Flyer over trotting bred Friendly Flier and Christian Buccini extras Taurus Bromac and Jimmy Paul.
Race 6 – Honest type in Franco Josiah to beat roughie Sometime and consistent Foreigner multiples Playboy’s Brother who will appreciate the drop in class and Sod’s Law.
Race 7 – Promising Last Of The Mohicans who will get a stern test here over Dhaulaguri from a stable that always fires here and Champagneandwine multiples Classy Kid and Percy.
Race 8 – One of the best horses on course in Andoverlov over veteran Rebel Kibbybones beautifully bred Mataderos others Medusa and Aveross Majesty.
Race 9 – Clearly the best performed horse here Classie Brigade over Henry Hubert good enough to run 4th in New Zealand Cup and bonny filly Stylish Memphis multiples William Wallace and Razor’s Edge.
Race 10 – Heavyweight Hero narrowly over Majestic Lavros and Pres The Belle others One Apollo and Maria Tsarina.
Race 11 – If you are still standing here well done, a clash of two promising mares Sweet Belle and Judgement Bay clear top two but in what order? Track specialist Glen Elgin Tomson for third and exotics Peraki Seelster and Got You covered.
