Race 1:
5 Rake: Going great guns at the moment and often in much stronger fields than this. Should take all sorts of stopping.
7 All Nuts N Bolts: Versatile customer who won’t shirk the challenge laid down to him here today. Can play a role. 3
2 El Capitan: Knocking around in stronger fields down the road at Addington recently and doing well. Right in this.
10 Doctor Tim: Consistent performing pacer who drops into a very winnable race today. Can swoop on them late.

Race 2:
3 American Pride: All Stars runner fresh up a strong trial win under the belt. Has to be big chance in this line up.
6 Madam Sass: Carried money in both runs, but manners haven’t been great. Clean round required but talented enough.
7 Zigzagzoo: Given time after racing as a 2YO. Nice workout win and looks stronger. A nice hope here.
1 Inherent Royal: Bit of money on for the debut start but the manners didn’t come to the party. Will win a maiden.

Race 3:
8 Kacie Cullen: Nice enough type back from a spell. Has speed when saved for the one run and that might be the go here.
12 Refine: Much improved recently and knocking on the door of another success. Not the worst here, even from the draw.
2 Friend: Been frustrating recently because all the ability is there. Won’t get many better chances than this one.
11 Dixie Jazz: Given plenty of runs to get the fitness levels up and there’s been some encouraging signs there too.

Race 4
6 Southerly Change: They’ll be hoping there isn’t one but some very impressive workouts and trials there. Hard to beat.
1 Prospect Park: Didn’t want to take the passing lane at Ashburton but a very good effort all the same. Will win one soon.
2 Scotlyn On Thebeach: Respected stable and family behind this first starter. Trials and workouts have been ok too.
5 Uno Mia: Looked like she would win a maiden easy last season but it never happen. Time a good thing.

Race 5
9 Tango Tara: Excellent run fresh up at Addington and only going to be better for that run too. Hard to beat with luck.
6 I’m Tough: Strong effort right to the line at Ashburton on Monday when fresh. Should strip fitter and give a sight today.
3 Rocknroll Rod: Has looked ready to resume in style with two good trials wins to ready for this. Leading junior on too.
8 Kardesler: Not bad last time out in a stronger race than this. Might need some luck from the draw though.

Race 6
4 Sugar Cane: On speed runner who was very good at Ashburton fresh. Dangerous if she gets the front and own terms.
1 The Eye Of The Tiger: Has shown plenty when she has put it all together at the races. Inside draw might work out nice.
6 Zsa Zoe: Good run in fresh state last time out and will be better for that too. Would be a popular winner again.
10 Miss Moppet: Big win last time out and clearly right on the top of her game. Will give this a pretty good crack too.
