Race 1
7 Daisy Hill: Fresh up tonight, but from a stable that has them ready. Won a trial last weekend in fine fashion. Everything points toward success.
1 Presidential Jewel: Has shown a fair bit of ability in the short career to date. Manners seem good, which is a big bonus. Can win this.
3 Lady Be Good: Handy enough to finish second in Oaks last season. Fresh up tonight but will be fit and ready to rock and roll. Not the worst.
5 Just Ricky: Gone off the boil a little bit lately, but does seem to race well here. Might be the bolters chance at big odds.

Race 2
11 Express Delight: Hasn’t had the greatest amounts of luck recently and falls into a very winnable race. Can give them all a fright from the second line.
13 Magilligan Point: Big and bold in both runs back from a spell but will have to do a bit of work from this draw tonight. Won’t shirk the fight.
2 Diamondsrbettor: Good run last time out and comes up with a handy draw again so shouldn’t be too far from the action. Can get a slice of it.
3 Mhai Tickled Pink: Good run fresh up and should take a bit of benefit out of that performance. Handy draw and top driver in the bike boost chances too.

Race 3
11 Resonate: All the ability in the world but manners the biggest problem at the moment. It’s cross everything and hope for the best, but will win if in the right mood.
9 Kapai: A bit like the stablemate really. Huge motor, but a bit of a bag of tricks. Too good to drop in this line up here tonight.
10 Natty Pagger: Resumed with a strong second last time out and will only be better for that. Genuine little performer who’s a great each way bet.
14 Tobruk: Kicked off the campaign with a strong run for third last time out. More game than most in this race and can’t be left out.

Race 4
3 Mighty Looee: Strong third in Sires’ Stakes heat last week, but simply stunning when last racing here. Should have this field at his mercy tonight.
11 Bad To The Bone: Took on the big guns last season and turned in some big efforts. Wide draw here doesn’t help but class edge will take him close.
1 Sole Ambition: Yet to run a bad race in the career and gets the perfect draw here to punch out and get the right kind of trip. Not the worst here.
2 Russley Rush: Showed a bit of promise with strong debut effort to win. This is another level but there was enough there to work with.

Race 5
2 On A Roll: Very good effort on debut to run second and arrives in the North and will be ready to rock and roll. Gets the good draw, should be hard to beat.
12 Lindi Lincoln: Has the motor but not getting the luck and right draws. Could be the sleeper off the second row here though if things pan out nicely.
3 Mimi E Coco: Bit of money once markets opened last night would suggest there’s a bit of word about. Smart trial win recently and should be right in this.
1 Nun Bettor: Drawn perfectly for a race like this and if happy to take a sit won’t end up too far back on the fence. Strong second on debut says a good run here too.

6 Wainui Creek: Smart mare who’s been given time after disappointing for second half of last season. Best is stunning. Looking for that here.
11 Go Kiwi: Has done nothing wrong in all starts since arriving in the North Island. Classy when in best form and no surprise to see a big effort here tonight.
2 Henry Hu: We’ll forgive last time, he was going to go very close too. Best is pretty smart and up to almost all in this line up for sure.
10 Troubador: Hasn’t had the best of luck in last few runs, but has always appeared to have more to offer. The sleeper of the field?

Race 7
7 Mach Shard: Resumed with a bold effort in the Spring Cup to finish second. Only going to be better for that and with big goals in mind should win tonight.
11 Triple Eight: Outstanding victory last time out in the Spring Cup. Will strip fitter but does give some nice ones a head start here. Each way again.
6 Bettorstartdreaming: Has had to grow up very quickly and has handled the challenges well. Can give them a bit of a fright if things pan out nicely.
4 The Devils Own: In great nick so far this campaign and won’t shirk the challenge here either. Might try and put them to the sword and could be hard to peg back.

12 Lemond: Did all he could when here in a fresh state behind a rampant one. Fitter and although off a big mark, can still give them a big shake up over the 2700m
10 CK Spur: In great form and bold third last time out. Big handicap, but classy and manners are excellent. No surprise to see a big run here.
8 Sunny Glenis: Gone off the boil a little lately, but long distance should suit tonight. Just needs to get the feet going in the right direction early.
9 Pres The Belle: Astute stable will have smart trotting mare ready to rock and roll here in a fresh state. Can give them all a bit of a shake up if things go well.

4 Be My Rock: Smart workout win last weekend points towards a big run here tonight. Drawn well and should be on the speed throughout. Hard to roll.
1 Cloud Break: Comes out of last week’s Sires’ Stakes heat where very good. Plum draw and should be right in the middle of the action here tonight.
2 Thumbs Up: Will show notable improvement from the fresh up run last time when copping a pretty bad check in the running. Not the worst here at a price.
6 Klovos: Has always looked above average a decent second at workouts behind #4 last weekend. Can give a bit of cheek in a fresh state.

Race 10
7 Ideal Agent: Promising type with a bit of a reputation. Workout winner six days ago, stable has them ready and not a strong field. Yes.
6 Accelere: Much more like it last time out with a strong fourth. This is the right kind of race and expecting a big run here this evening.
3 The Blue Beat: Two runs back have both been very good so far. Should be at peak fitness right and ready to really get stuck in and give a big shot here tonight.
4 MT Pockets: Dour pacer who won’t mind putting it too them here if required. Handy draw to get onto the speed early and look to stay there. Not the worst.
